Hamburg-based asset manager for clean energy infrastructure is looking for a Project Manager Offshore Wind (PMO) (m/f/x) (full-time or part-time) to join the team as soon as possible and in a permanent position.

Your responsibilities

Your tasks will focus on the following areas:

  • Responsibility for parts of the commercial and technical offshore project management
  • Coordinating specific Project Management Office tasks
  • Continue the scope management by detailing project requirements
  • Refine scope definitions and manage the interfaces
  • Upgrade and continuously improve the work breakdown structure
  • Keeping track of a project’s progress by coordination of the project Scheduling activities
  • Validate the sequencing of activities, activity resources, activity durations and define the right dependencies
  • Develop a project resource management and control tool
  • Preparation of risk register and risk reporting
  • Contribute to the project management plan and monitor project work
  • Implementing changes to teams and processes and perform integrated change control
  • Creating detailed reports for management
  • Working closely with Project Management and Package Managers

You will be responsible for part of one or several offshore wind projects in development and/or construction and provide support in the acquisition of new projects. The work covers commercial, legal and technical aspects, participation in contract negotiations and due diligence processes and reporting.

Your profile

  • University degree with above-average results
  • Min 5 years project management experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Experience in Offshore Wind Development and/or Construction and/or operations
  • Experience in offshore wind scheduling, risk management and other project management areas
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Very good command of spoken and written English as well as ideally German, other foreign languages are a plus (especially Spanish, Italian, French)
  • Very good communication and analytical skills
  • Structured and strong communication skills
  • Very good understanding of technical and commercial aspects
  • Certification by IPMA or PMI is desirable
  • Reliability, diligence and a structured and independent way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, openness and a healthy dose of pragmatism
  • High flexibility and resilience, personal initiative and hands-on mentality
