Your responsibilities

• Be end-to-end responsible for offshore wind projects in Germany, and bringthe projects successfully into construction and operations
• Support in building up the offshore organisation, with reporting directly to the Managing Directors in Luxcara

Your responsibilities

Your tasks will focus on the following areas:

• Screening and evaluating new investment opportunities
• Developing, utilizing and analyzing financial models and running sensitivities along the M&A process
• Deal and financing execution including conducting due diligence, financial reviews and managing financial close
• Managing interactions with bankers, lawyers, project developers and financial advisors
• Financial analysis and asset management of existing portfolio assets
• Portfolio monitoring including annual budgeting, liquidity forecasting and target vs. actual comparisons

As Investment Analyst you will be responsible for the evaluation of new investment opportunities, manage the due diligence processes during deal and financing execution and be involved in portfolio monitoring. You will also work closely with various external advisors and financing partners.

Your profile

• Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a strong academic background
• Relevant internships or work experience in Finance, M&A or Asset Management
• Strong financial modeling and evaluation skill set is critical
• Strong quantitative capabilities and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quantitatively oriented
• Excellent team work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German are mandatory
• Further language skills, especially in German, are beneficial

Your responsibilities

Your tasks will focus on the following areas:

• Responsibility for parts of the commercial and technical offshore project management
• Coordinating specific Project Management Office tasks
• Continue the scope management by detailing project requirements
• Refine scope definitions and manage the interfaces
• Upgrade and continuously improve the work breakdown structure
• Keeping track of a project’s progress by coordination of the project Scheduling activities
• Validate the sequencing of activities, activity resources, activity durations and define the right dependencies
• Develop a project resource management and control tool
• Preparation of risk register and risk reporting
• Contribute to the project management plan and monitor project work
• Implementing changes to teams and processes and perform integrated change control

You will be responsible for part of one or several offshore wind projects in development and/or construction and provide support in the acquisition of new projects. The work covers commercial, legal and technical aspects, participation in contract negotiations and due diligence processes and reporting.

Your profile

• University degree with above-average results
• Min 5 years project management experience in the renewable energy sector
• Experience in Offshore Wind Development and/or Construction and/or operations
• Experience in offshore wind scheduling, risk management and other project management areas
• Very good MS Office skills
• Very good command of spoken and written English as well as ideally German, other foreign languages are a plus (especially Spanish, Italian, French)
• Very good communication and analytical skills
• Structured and strong communication skills
• Very good understanding of technical and commercial aspects
• Certification by IPMA or PMI is desirable
• Reliability, diligence and a structured and independent way of working
• Ability to work in a team, openness and a healthy dose of pragmatism
• High flexibility and resilience, personal initiative and hands-on mentality
